God works in mysterious ways! God used the death of new Fijian convert, Sis. Kelera, to give birth to a Fijian daughter work here in Hamilton. Attending a Pentecostal service for the first time, Sis. Kelera‟s unsaved husband, daughter and granddaughter were among the many that were blessed.

God is faithful! He met with us each day for our NZ National Conference. Bro. Clifford Readout and Bro. Levi Wright expounded great truths from the Word each morning and Bro. Kevin Borders delivered a tremendous message from the Lord each night. In addition, their wives ministered in the Ladies Ministry Meeting and other services. What an awesome time of blessing for our ladies during the anointed ministry of Sis. Becky McMurray and Sis. Carolyn Ashcraft during our annual ladies retreat. We wear many different hats in our Christian walk and were challenged to renew the mind of Christ through each of them. The Spirit of Restoration ministered mightily.

Can you believe we are already four months into 2009!!! Wow the months are truly flying by, think of it this way … only 8 months to Christmas! What a busy year (don’t I always say that?!?) =)
We started the year off right with a combined watch-night service and fellowship/BBQ at a saint’s house. The house was packed with friends and church family as we sang, shared testimonies and songs together along with good food to share, ending the evening praying in the N...[more]

During the month of September, our Youth Camp theme was " C.P.R. - Committment and Purpose = Relationship". We were also blessed to have Brother Ben Finn from Sydney, Australia for our Holy Ghost Resucitation service. Our National Conference was held in October. "So Great Salvation" was the theme and Bro Leroy Francis (UK and Ireland UPCI Superintendent) and fellow minister Bro Miguel Diaz were our guest speakers. Missions-loving and Faith-Promise Preaching—a good combination to dedicate the UPCI Headquarters church in Hamilton. Bro. and Sis Jack Leaman were our honoured guests… and so appropriate too as they were Sis. Addington’s former Lastors from Lancaster, Ohio and a part of our marriage ceremony many years ago.

Matthew Addington, our son returned from his tour of duty in Djibouti, Africa. We are so proud of him – and miss him soooo much. But we give God the thanks and the glory for keeping him safe. He has two more years of service before his release; it seems such a long time to be separated. But we’ve been learning a whole new measure of what Trusting the Lord means and I believe trusting Him is the highest form of worship to God. We thank you for praying for our son.
